A black and white shoot'em up game where players use a mounted bazooka to fire at enemy jeeps, trucks, motorcycles and tanks that move across the screen. Try not to hit the ambulances or the people carrying the stretchers. It plays like Midway's Sea Wolf but involves land combat.
TECHNICAL Cabinet dimensions: 72'' high x 26'' wide x 24'' deep.
There were 2 kinds of upright cabinets produced which differed in color and artwork. They are easiest distinguished in color of the bazooka (black or grey).
TRIVIA Bazooka was first advertised in October 1976 and then was released in November of the same year. It was at the MOA '76 event in November.
Bazooka is the first shooting game that penalized the player for hitting friendlies, in this case, the ambulance that would scroll across the screen.
Later re-released by Taito as "Cross Fire" and by P.S.E. themselves in a two player model as UN Command.
