Shooting Master is a dedicated game equipped with a realistic gun that has a recoiling mechanism so the player feels the impact of each shot. The player is on a secret mission to save princess Iris, who has been kid¬ napped by a criminal syndicate, and must survive running gun battles while being pursued.
TECHNICAL Runs on the Sega "System 2" hardware.
Used a mounted pistol gun for a single player.
TRIVIA Released in November 1985 in Japan. It was demonstrated at the ACME trade show in Chicago in March of 1986, where Space Harrier was shown in the US for the first time.
The idea of protecting a character on-screen from enemies was first seen in Exidy's Crossbow.
