    TRIVIA
Released on October 30, 1987 in Japan.

The PC-Engine was a collaborative effort between Hudson Soft and NEC Home Electronics. NEC's interest in entering the lucrative video game market coincided with Hudson's failed attempt to sell designs for then-advanced graphics chips to Nintendo.

In Japan, the PC-Engine was very successful, and at one point was the top-selling console in the nation. 3,9 millions units were sold in Japan.
