The Psion Series 3c is a further evolution of the Series 3 line, released in 1996 with refinements in design, connectivity, and usability.
It maintains the 480×160 grayscale display and NEC V30H processor at 7.68 MHz but introduces a redesigned casing, improved keyboard layout, and enhanced connectivity including a built-in infrared (IrDA) port and improved serial interface.
The Series 3c also increases memory support and improves system integration with external devices, making it more suitable for mobile professionals and data exchange environments.
While still running the SIBO / EPOC16 operating system, it represents the final major refinement of the Series 3 architecture before the transition to the Psion Series 5 platform.
