The Casio Casiotone FK-1 was a compact electronic keyboard designed as part of Casio’s early push into affordable home music instruments. Produced by Casio Computer Co., Ltd., it featured preset tones, simple monophonic and polyphonic sound generation, and built-in rhythm accompaniment functions aimed at beginners and hobby musicians. Positioned as an entry-level instrument in the Casiotone family, the FK-1 emphasized portability, ease of use, and accessibility, reflecting the growing popularity of consumer-grade electronic keyboards in the early 1980s.
