Geimos is a 3D shooter by Ascii. In the year 2315, the Masutodon (aka Mastodons) from the 'Centaurus A' galaxy are treatening peace in our solar system. From their base, they launch devastating attacks and head towards planet Earth. The Solar System Defence Forces decide to send a space-fighter to counter the impending invasion, and battle the Mastodons on six planets from our solar system - Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. The space fighter comes equipped with a front Pulsar laser gun (to destroy flying enemies) and Quasar bombs (to destroy ground installations). At the end of each level, a large Fobosu enemy fortress drops out of warp and ambushes the player. Each fortress has the same weak point located at the center of the ship, and failing to destroy it within a time limit forces the player to start the level again from the beginning. Geimos offers two play modes - one where the ship freely moves around the playfield (mode A), and the other where it has a fixed position at the center of the screen (mode B).
