    TRIVIA
Atari Baseball was released in June 1979, selling at an MSRP of $1595. Approximately 1,050 units were produced.

    First Rotberg coin-op game.

The large trackball used in this game is the same one used in "Atari Football", "Atari Basketball", and "Atari Soccer", as well as the Upright and Cockpit versions of "Missile Command".

This was originally slated to be Atari's first game to feature digitized speech. Dan Pliskin designed a speech board that included the umpire's calls, but management eventually nixed the idea.
